Child death

PJ detectives are investigating the terrible death of a five-year-old boy who was burnt in his bed in a house fire in Damaia, Amadora, on Saturday. The child’s mother is reported to have run out of the three-storey building, where they lived, in panic – and it was only on the firemen’s second check of the burnt out building that they discovered little Malan, born in Guinea-Bissau, carbonised in his bed.
