After a “successful and limited” series of four events this summer, the Chef’s Table gastronomic experience is being changed into a year-long series at Pine Cliffs Resort in Albufeira, with the next scheduled for this Saturday (October 1) at 8pm.
Says the resort, a Chef’s Table event will be held every Saturday until the end of the year at MIMO Algarve’s kitchen.
Participants will be welcomed by the resort’s chefs and sommeliers, while some special edition events, still to be announced, will also feature guest VIP chefs.
Upon their arrival, participants will be able to enjoy a welcome drink served at the resort’s Lemon square, followed by an eight-course dinner, with a carefully crafted menu that aims to showcase the best seasonal products of the Algarve, paired with local wines.
During the dinner, chefs will sit with guests at the table so that they can enjoy the meal together, creating a “unique and intimate experience”, the resort says.
MIMO Algarve’s open kitchen will also allow clients to watch the chefs preparing each dish and learn more about the techniques and ingredients used.
Each ‘Chef’s Table’ will take place between 8pm and 11pm and has limited seating. Prices start at €160 per person and bookings must be made beforehand.
These ‘adult-only’ events will remain open both to guests at the resort as well as anyone interested in participating.
MIMO Algarve is open all-year-round and also offers tapas and wine tastings, an Espresso Bar specialising in signature coffees and artisanal pastry, and a store with regional products such as teas, jams, honey and the new craft beer Falésia.
It also hosts workshops allowing participants of all ages to learn more about local dishes, learn new techniques and try the “best flavours of the Algarve”.
