Top Portuguese Chef Luís Baena will be holding a special dinner at O Terraço restaurant in Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel in Sagres on Saturday, April 27, from 8pm.
Luís Baena’s 33 years’ experience spans several countries and five-star hotel chains, such as the Hilton, Westin, Marriot and Meridien. He is soon to open his first restaurant in London, the Notting Hill Kitchen at 92 Kensington Park Road.
Well known in Portugal, Luís Baena has been a chef at some of Portugal’s best restaurants, such as Quinta de Catralvos, a gourmet restaurant considered to be one of the most avant-garde in Portugal. Chef Luís also consults and teaches at universities and is currently the Executive Chef at Tivoli Hotels in Portugal.
The dinner at Martinhal will be an opportunity to taste his cuisine, accompanied by a fine selection of Paulo Laureano wines.
The four course menu includes mackerel and squid burger with samphire and parsley coulis, served with PL Premium Rosé, and confit of pork cheek from the Alentejo with creamy truffled rice, accompanied by PL Premium Red.
Price is €60 per person, with drinks included. Children under three don’t pay while children from six to 12 years old have a 50% discount.
