Energy regulator ERSE has proposed a 0.4% drop in electricity tariffs for 2020. The move promises to benefit around a million customers within the regulated market (ie those with EDP), reducing bills by roughly 18 cents per month.
Customers within the liberalised market will have to wait for the tariff cut to ‘trickle through’. Explain reports, the reduction comes from a drop in tariff debt by 460 million euros.
