Charity run

Thousands of runners are due to take to the streets of Oeiras, near Lisbon, on April 18 as part of the Corrida Sempre Mulher race to raise money for the Portuguese Association of Breast Cancer Support.

The race, which will begin at 10am, is open to all including men, as long as they are accompanied by a woman, and can be run or walked.

Entry to the race costs between 10 and 15 euros depending on the date of registration.
