TOP PORTUGUESE Fado star Carlos do Carmo will be providing the entertainment at the second charity gala to raise funds for Instituto D. Francisco Gomes, better known as Casa dos Rapazes, a boys’ home in Faro. The event is this Saturday, December 10, at Vilamoura Casino, at 8pm.
Following the popularity of last year’s gala, which featured a performance by the Algarve Orchestra, organisers decided to approach the famous singer to build on the event’s success. If you’d like an excuse to get dressed up and enjoy a night out, this is Portuguese entertainment at its best and, what’s more, it is all for a very good cause.
