A Christmas fair in aid of the Nandi Animal Charity is to take place on November 21 at the Mercado do Levante in Lagos.
The fair, which is to run from 9am until 3.30pm, will have arts and crafts for sale from local artisans while there will also be clothes, jewellery and household items on sale.
The Nandi Charity will be providing pastries and refreshments from their own café and all proceeds of the fair will be donated to the charity which helps animals in the western Algarve.
