Albufeira dog refuge Tiny Shelter has two fundraising events planned for October as the association continues its efforts to raise enough money to move to a new site after the plot of land it is currently located was sold.
The first is a craft fair scheduled for Saturday, October 22 between 12 noon and 5.30pm at Wander Inn, on Rua Alexandre Herculano, in Albufeira.
Organisers are promising an afternoon of “arts and crafts, amazing food, family activities, kids art corner, face paintings, costumes and a charity raffle”.
Also planned is a Halloween Charity Event at Chicago’s Lounge Bar in Albufeira the following Saturday (October 29).
There will be karaoke, finger snacks, a welcome drink and a raffle, as well as prizes for the best-dressed couple and best-dressed individual.
Admission is €10 per person, with the event starting at 7pm and “running until late”.
