An association supporting children and youngsters with special needs in the Algarve will be holding a charity dinner this Saturday, August 2, at the Monkey’s beachside restaurant in Faro.
The goal of the event organised by AAPACDM, entitled ‘Noite Solidária’, is to help the association purchase equipment for a ‘teaching kitchen’ where children will be able to “work on their resilience when faced with tough situations”.
The all-inclusive dinner will cost €27.50. Those attending can choose from three different main courses, including Pork Medallion with gratin potatoes and sautéed vegetables, Baked Codfish with corn bread, potatoes and salad, or Vegetable Tortellini. Dessert will be Pannacotta with a berry sauce.
There will be an after-party to follow to which everyone is welcome. Money made from the sale of drinks like Caipirinha (typical Brazilian cocktail) or Mojitos will also go towards the charity effort.
