A charity day has been organised in aid of the Goldra Animal Sanctuary on Sunday, September 24, starting at 1pm and your support is urgently needed. The venue is Shakespeare’s restaurant in Vilamoura and the day will be jam-packed with fun and different things to do and see.
DJ Marc Damon will provide the music, Kiss FM will have a live broadcast at the event and the live band, 2+2, will perform at 6pm. Dr Carlos from the SOS Veterinary Clinic in Loulé will be there all day to answer any questions or discuss any problems regarding animals. Sally Mulholland, a photographer at Zoom and Groom, a mobile dog grooming service, will be offering makeovers for your pets and taking pictures of them for you to keep.
There will be a raffle. An auction is scheduled to take place from 9pm with the chance to win fantastic prizes, including a stay in a top hotel in the Algarve. Food will be available and, if you are a fan of Sunday roasts, then do not miss Shakespeare’s famed roasts.
