A charity cricket match and sports day was held at a private villa in Vilamoura on November 8.
Cricketers took part in a game in the morning and a game of rounders was organised for the afternoon with the tennis court being in use throughout the day.
1,081 euros was raised with half going to the veterinary clinic São Francisco, and the rest for the Canham Veterinary Clinic, both in Loulé, for the neutering of abandoned cats and dogs.
