A car boot sale organised by the Women’s Voluntary Service (WRVS) will be taking place on September 24 at the Carcavelos Clothes Market in Cascais.
The market, located on the sea side of the train station, will be open from 10am until 2pm and costs €12 for cars and €20 for vans to have their own pitch.
As well as books, clothing, household goods and many other items that will be on sale, the members of the WRVS will also be serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and homemade cakes.
All of the money raised from the sale of the pitches will be donated to the Riding for the Disabled in Cascais charity.
