Changes at Olhanense

After failing to keep Olhanense in the Primeira Liga, coach Galderisi has departed as the club starts restructuring for life in the 2nd Division.
Tipped to replace the Italian are Filipe Moreira (ex-Mafra), António Conceição (ex-Moreirense) and the fans’ favourite Bruno Saraiva. He saved the Algarve side from relegation the previous season and is currently in Scotland attending a UEFA Coaching Course (level 3), which would qualify him to take charge of the Olhão outfit.
Club captain Rui Duarte, who led the club to promotion in 2009, is expected to sign a one-year extension whilst a number of players will be leaving as the club battles to keep within a restricted budget and a decrease in revenue.
One ray of sunshine is the signing of 19 year-old Jorge Gonzalez who has been training with the professional squad over the past four months. The highly talented Colombian has put pen-to-paper on a four year deal.
