Edwin ter Haar (pictured) has become the single shareholder at Importeco and has taken over from his father, Theo ter Haar, as the manager of the long standing kitchen suppliers company.
Edwin ter Haar told the Algarve Resident: “I signed the papers making me the sole shareholder of the company on August 20. These shares had previously been held by my parents.
He added: “Although officially things have changed in principle, nothing will change in the business and it will still be my father and I running the show here as we have done for some time.”
Theo ter Haar founded Importeco in 1984 and the company has grown over the years from only stocking kitchens to now being able to supply bathroom furniture, garden sheds, wooden houses, bungalows and garden furniture including barbecues.
