Four supermarkets will welcome the trophy
The UEFA Champions League trophy will be on display at Continente supermarkets in the Algarve throught the next two days.
On Wednesday (August 9), the trophy will be displayed at Continente Portimão Cabeço do Mocho from 9am to 1pm, and at Continente Bom Dia Armação de Pera from 2.30pm to 6.30pm. On Thursday (August 10), the trophy will be at Continente Guia from 9am to 1pm, and at Continente Modelo Albufeira from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
Organised by Continente and DAZN, the “new home” of Eleven Sports, the initiative will allow visitors to “view and take photos with the most coveted trophy in European football, weighing eight kilograms and standing at approximately 73.5 centimeters in height.”
