Olhanense returned to training earlier this week knowing they would have a difficult start to the season. Liga d’Honra (2nd Division) winners Estoril are the visitors on the opening weekend August 18 and 19 at the Jose Arcanjo Stadium, Olhao.
The following weekend sees the Algarve’s only Premier Liga team travel to Coimbra to take on Academica. League Champions FC Porto will be in town over the weekend of September 1 and 2 when fans will get an opportunity to see a galaxy of international stars in action. Supporters will have to wait until the second half of the season to welcome SC Braga (March), Benfica (April) and Sporting Lisbon (May). The annual five day tour to Madeira, when Olhanense play Maritimo, is on the weekend of January 19 and 20.
