Egyptian champions, Al Ahly, coached by Portugal’s Manuel José, have won the African Champions League for the fourth time by defeating Etoile Du Sahel 3-0 in Cairo. The first leg in Tunisia ended in a 0-0 draw. The victory fills the last place for the World Club Championships, which will be held in Japan from December 11–18. Already qualified are European Champions Liverpool, São Paulo (South America), Al Ittihad (Asia), Sydney FC (Oceania) and Costa Rican club Saprissa, who will represent the CONCACAF region. Liverpool will enter the competition at the semi-final stage on December 14, against the winners between Saprissa and Sydney.
