THE PORTUGUESE Chamber of Commerce recently held a dinner for its Portugal members at Jardim do Vau, near Portimão. Over 60 members enjoyed this special reception and dinner.
During the evening, Rosemary de Rougemont, the chamber chairman, presented Peter Lovell with a silver wine funnel to mark his retirement as Algarve director for the chamber, and commended him on how much he had achieved during his 15 years in this role.
Simon Perks of Banco Santander Totta in London, where the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce is based, will be taking over from Peter as Algarve director.
