Around 150 people donned running shoes at the weeend for the ‘Challenge Algarve’ races, which took place in Castro Marim and Altura.
Said Nuno Pereira, sports chief at Castro Marim council: “This initiative promotes the municipality of Castro Marim not only as a tourist destination, but also as an area with great natural conditions for sports, all the way from the coast to the inland area.”
