Chaîne’s surprise pudding

Members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in the Algarve were treated to a surprise pudding during a recent dinner at Restaurant Vivendo at Meia Praia in Lagos.

After enjoying coco-curry foam soup with shrimps, sauteed scallops with green asparagus and pink roasted beef tenderloin with artichoke-tomato vegetables, diners were served a surprise pudding, a chilled cream cheese tartlet on a raspberry coulis garnished with raspberries and the words ‘Vive la Chaîne!’ written

in chocolate.

The Chaîne thanked Chef Christoph Voigt and restaurant owners Vincent and Karin Winiker for the “delightful surprise”.

The next Châine des Rôtisseurs dinner will take place at Monte de Casal, Estoi on May 13.
