Members were served an amazing feast of oysters, mussels, clams, razor fish, shrimps and crab
The Algarve Bailliage of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs met at O Paulo, a restaurant next to the old fortress of Arrifana near Aljezur, well known to the locals for its superb shellfish and amazing views over the cliffs.
After a selection of starters of octopus salad, crab toast and hot goat cheese in pastry with pine nuts and honey, the “mariscada” (seafood platter) itself was presented and did not disappoint.
An amazing feast of oysters, mussels, clams, razor fish, shrimps and crab, served with the traditional buttered toast, was enjoyed by all with the help of a house white wine from Borba.
Local pastries and strawberries rounded-up an excellent and leisurely meal. A special thank you to the smiling and efficient staff!
The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, an international gastronomic association with a strong social involvement, counts 25,000 members in 70 countries and is always happy to welcome new members who enjoy the conviviality and friendship of a shared good meal.
