With most of Europe safely installed on their sofas, Cerro Novo launched a brand-new YouTube channel, to put virtual viewings in the palm of your hand. Prospective purchasers were able to see their range of properties in great detail on their website and across social media – from anywhere and at any time.
With their offices closed, the team became virtual experts – maintaining contact with buyers and sellers via Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp and Facetime – often from their kitchen tables or whilst carrying out viewings by video! “What became apparent is how much closer we became with our clients, understanding even more about their detailed requirements – something that has resulted in many successful viewings and resultant sales since our office reopened in mid-May”, they tell us.
For Cerro Novo, the hard work during lockdown is beginning to pay off, resulting in far greater market stability than they could have predicted. Whilst quarantines are preventing the usual summer crowds, there is a sense that normality and confidence are returning to the local property market: one safe step at a time.
