AN EXHIBITION of historical ceramic pieces from the 15th and 16th centuries runs at Silves municipal archaeology museum until April 1.
Included in the exhibition are a range of ceramic
cups, plates and jugs among other items which are organised according to whether they were produced locally, regionally or imported from abroad.
Decorated ceramic objects such as the porcelains and majolicas displayed in the exhibition were often used in the past to demonstrate wealth and culture.
The museum is open Monday to Saturday between 9am and 5.30pm.
