With most parties either voting against or abstaining, IL (Iniciativa Liberal) admits it will vote in favour of the censure motion against the government lodged by CHEGA and coming up in parliament tomorrow, even though it is a manoeuvre to get press attention and cause distraction. IL’s Patrícia Gilvaz admits that “looking at the situation of the country”/ “the marked degradation of the socio economic context”, censure is required. Indeed, in her opinion, “the situation of the country has not improved, it has deteriorated, in public services, education and health” which she considered is “in chaos”.
