Financial services company Money Mais held a cocktail party on September 8 to celebrate new developments for the company.
The triple celebration marked the new association of Money Mais with Moneycorp, the opening of their new premises in the Golden Triangle and also the launch of the new Money Mais website.
The premises were officially opened by Marc Morley-Freer, Moneycorp’s Commercial Director, who flew to the Algarve specifically for the event, which was attended by more 70 guests including members of the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC), bank representatives, lawyers, and business people from across the region.
Money Mais will now be representing Moneycorp within Portugal. Sales manager Gail Serra said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Moneycorp on board and to be able to offer our partners and individual clients one of the world’s finest FX services”.
She added: “Our additional strength is to offer commercial organisations unique tools to make their companies both more profitable and efficient when trading or transferring money abroad.”
During the last year Money Mais has seen an upturn in custom from the Golden Triangle area of Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Almancil, so when the premises in Almancil became available the company decided to move to this new and more accessible location within the Algarve.
Ricardo Chaves, Operations Director said: “The new premises became available at just the right time, as recent expansion meant that we had out grown our old premises. The new Money Mais office is more visible and more accessible for our clients and we can now welcome clients and prospective clients in comfortable surroundings.”
Meanwhile, the new Money Mais website features live exchange rates and a daily market update video, provided by Moneycorp as well as explaining the full range of financial services that Money Mais provides to both their personal and business clients.
