Restaurant Review – Masala House
Masala House Indian Restaurant is very centrally located in the heart of Portimão in front of the City Hall building. Now in its second year and improving all the time, the Masala House team has introduced a home delivery service. With a 15km radius, residents from Carvoeiro to Alvor can enjoy this service free of charge for a minimum order of €14, with €1 from each delivery being donated to Casa da Nossa Senhora da Conceição children’s home.
Owner Sandeep Patel has implemented his many years’ experience and created a comfortable and modern restaurant with a spacious covered terrace where he proudly serves a wonderful selection of Indian delights.
At lunch time, you can choose a main course with rice and naan along with a drink for the reasonable price of €8.50. Dinner is à la carte but prices are still very competitive and the drinks are below average in cost, so you can leave with a satisfyingly full stomach and not feel the pinch in your wallet.
