Newly-founded Associação de Equitação Adaptado Barlavento (Riding for the Disabled Barlavento Association) is organising a fundraising dinner at Restaurante Bom Pecado near Lagos Marina on the British Royal wedding day.
Tickets cost €21 per person for the April 29 event, which begins at 4pm with cocktails and canapés followed by a British celebration dinner.
Participants will be able to get their picture taken alongside the Royal couple (life-sized cardboard cut out), with all funds going towards the new association.
For more information or to book, please contact Heather on 936 624 239 or Linda on 967 904 748.
The association already has weekly riding for disabled morning sessions on Thursdays and Fridays for local children from NECI (Núcleo de Educação da Criança Inadaptada) and Lagos Children’s Home, at the Centro Hípico Quinta do Paraíso Alto near Bensafrim.
Volunteers are always welcome.
