SEVERAL EVENTS have been organised by Oceânico Resorts and Leisure to celebrate the festive season in December.
Destino Restaurant and Bar in Lagos and Calabaza Restaurant in Praia da Luz will be serving a traditional Christmas lunch with musical entertainment at both venues. Popular local singer, Ilze, will be performing at Destino and Klonakilty will offer an Irish vibe to get the party spirit going at Calabaza. Destino will also be hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner and party with Jazz Silk n’ DJ. At Calabaza, for New Year’s Eve a meal will be accompanied by music from the “silky smooth voice” of Johnny Favourite and guitarist Chris Atcherley. From 10.30pm, the festivities are moved to the adjacent Hugo Beaty Bar and Café, where there will be karaoke and DJ Manuel will take revellers on a journey back in time to the 70s and 80s.
Also on New Year’s Eve, guests can enjoy a four-course meal at Estrela do Mar restaurant in Lagos. Music will be provided by Duo Latino and there is the added bonus of watching the fireworks display from a spectacular vantage point.
