Madrugada Association is preparing to host a number of charity coffee mornings on September 25, inspired by Macmillan Cancer Support which has cleverly encouraged the whole world to support their coffee morning initiative in order to provide a valued service in the UK.
Every euro raised by Madrugada, which provides a similar service in Portugal, will go towards patient care, making a difference to people affected by life-limiting illness and supporting those in need of end-of-life care.
Now an annual event, the Algarve’s Biggest Coffee Morning is designed to raise maximum funds with minimum fuss.
You can share your event on your Facebook wall for your friends to see or you can let Madrugada Facebook page know about it and they will add your event to a list of public events to which everyone is invited.
Join the Madrugada team on September 25 at 10.30am when they will be hosting their own event at the Madrugada Support Centre and in their charity shop at Rua Direita 100, both in Praia da Luz. Entrance is €5.
If you can’t make it to Luz, Madrugada has two other public events further east – one at the Algarve Tennis and Fitness Club in Vale do Lobo and the other at Castelo do Mar restaurant in Albufeira.
