Cat found three weeks after going missing at Lisbon Airport

Ravi, the Persian cat that went missing during flight transit at Lisbon Airport has been found safe, well and rather thinner than he was when he was described as “lost baggage” to his distraught owner.
The heroes of the day were airport workers André Sabino and João Figueiredo, employees of Groundforce Portugal, who heard about the missing moggie and decided to go looking for him during “a slow night” at work.
It didn’t take long before they spied Ravi slumming it on his way into a sewer pipe.
The quick-thinking duo staked out the pipe, pouncing at an opportune moment.
Ravi was not best pleased, but calmed down after a bit of token scratching.
He has now been returned to his delighted owner who had been told when he went missing in September that there was nothing to be done, as Ravi had become “lost baggage”…
The deluxe feline went missing during a flight between Ponta Delgada in the Azores and Lisbon’s Portela airport.
