THIS WAS a beach party with a difference – no sea and no sand! But, when you are a member of the Casuals Sports and Social Club, you can have a beach party anywhere! Many of the members and their friends gathered at the Club last Sunday to help raise money for the 25th anniversary of the Club, later this year. There was excellent food cooked by barbecue master, Dave Jackson, and plenty to wash it down with, supplied by Karen and her team. Later in the evening, there was a bad shirt competition and there were definitely some wacky ones strutting around! Irish group, The Melting Pot, got everyone in the party mood.
