Enjoy a plate of snails while listening to live music at the Castro Marim International Snail Festival taking place from today (Friday) until Sunday, June 12.
The Algarve Resident would like to apologise to readers for the incorrect entry in the What’s On section of the June 3 edition regarding the festival, which was based on information that had been provided by Turismo do Algarve.
The festival in the historic town will start today (Friday) from 7.30pm with music from Italian band Malicanti and Spanish group Banda del Pepo.
Tomorrow (Saturday) the festival will begin at 5pm and there will be music from French band Les Voyageurs and Portuguese singer Dina followed by Marrocon band Ziryab Ensemble and local group Marenostrum on Sunday, also from 5pm.
