Castro Marim is seeking volunteers for a tree planting initiative which will take place on Saturday, December 3.
The goal is to plant 5,000 trees across a 19-hectare forest area destroyed last year in the Pernadeira fire.
The initiative is part of Zoomarine’s ‘Operação Montanha Verde’ project, which aims to plant 42,000 trees in the eight Algarve boroughs.
