Customers at Overseas Iceland supermarket in Guia helped raise €410 for the Silves-based charity Castelo de Sonhos which helps underprivileged people in the Algarve.
The charity thanked the staff and customers for their support after a weekend promoting their work at the supermarket. The picture shows Iceland staff dressed for the occasion.
Meantime, Castelo de Sonhos received a donation of baby and children’s knitwear from the St. Martins Crafts Guild. “Special thanks go to Roma Houldin, Alice Wilding and the ladies for the garments, all beautifully made,” said volunteer Celia Mossman.
