WOMEN WHO are three months pregnant or more will be eligible to receive pre-birth benefits, ranging from 32 euros to 130 euros per month.
This new incentive came into effect at the beginning of the week and could potentially help 90,000 families. In an effort to raise the birth rate, mothers-to-be will be given financial aid even before they give birth.
The government has also doubled the amount of financial aid available to mothers with two children and tripled the amount for women with three children.
