Police in Taiwan arrested a 55-year old man after he caused disorder in the streets of Taichung city by throwing money out of a taxi window.
The man threw around one million Taiwan dollars (22,300 euros) worth of bank notes from vehicles, causing disorder in the streets.
Police official Lin Shih-ming said: “He might have had a nervous condition, as his state of mind wasn’t normal.”
The man is believed to have thrown heaps more money on an earlier road trip starting in the capital Taipei.
The taxi driver turned the man in to police, just south of Taichung, where he was charged with public endangerment and destruction of currency.
