GNR police were called to handle a case of domestic violence in Carvoeiro on Sunday (February 19) but ended up discovering a “mini indoor greenhouse” used to grow cannabis plants inside the couple’s home.
A search of the property found 204 individual doses of the drug, eight plants and other material linked to drug-dealing.
Police have not commented further on the issue of domestic violence. Correio da Manhã tabloid says both the man and woman, in their 30s, have been identified and an investigation is underway.
