Carvoeiro-based social club CASA has now completed its busiest ever series of autumn events, managing to “squeeze six events into 10 hectic weeks”, all with a good turnout.
To round off the season and the club year, 54 members met on December 2 at O Barradas restaurant near Silves for Christmas Dinner.
After a welcome drink by the log fire, members enjoyed a festive meal, with the turkey and Christmas pudding being the “star attractions” for those who enjoy such traditional fare. A visit by Santa with a bag of presents added to the fun of the evening.
After a brief recovery over Christmas, CASA will begin 2018 with a club tradition – the annual ‘After Hangover Dinner’, which this time will be held at Brasserie Rosal in Carvoeiro on January 20.
Events are also open to non-members.
