CASA social club celebrated the start of another year with what they call the “After Hangover Dinner” on January 23.
For the last couple of years the club had held this dinner at The Village Inn. “Although we have much enjoyed this lovely cosy restaurant, it is just a bit small for us and we have had to hold two separate dinners to cater for all the members who have wanted to attend, doubling the administrative work,” said Norman Crocker from CASA. “This year we gathered at the elegant Amadeus Garden Restaurant in Alcalar, where the food was excellent and the staff courteous and attentive.
“It was lovely to meet up with old friends and see some new faces attending their first CASA dinner.”
CASA’s next event will be an “experiment” – a Sunday Brunch on February 28. This will be followed by the AGM on March 26, both in Carvoeiro.
