MEMBERS OF social club, CASA, got together and raised over 1,000 euros towards the purchase of winter protective clothing, urgently needed for the Silves Bombeiros.
Commandant António Nunes of Silves Bombeiros assessed the immediate priority as being balaclavas, polo shirts and trousers. CASA chairman, Norman Thompson, and treasurer, Frantz Pecheur, met with António Nunes to hand over the cheque and ended up taking a tour around the command centre. The Commandant thanked CASA members for their generous support.
