Thirty CASA members and guests attended an “After Valentine’s Day” lunch at Ponto de Encontro restaurant in Carvoeiro on February 15.
A Valentine’s quiz was held, with the winner of this receiving a bottle of ‘bubbly’. To maintain the theme, heart-shaped chocolates were also served for all to have with their after-lunch coffee.
“A wonderful meal and the great service received from Paulo Encarnação, aided by his staff, was appreciated by all; we thank them for making this a very enjoyable occasion,” said a spokersperson for Carvoeiro-based social club CASA.
The next event will be the 2020 AGM followed by dinner at Big Red’s Steakhouse near Alvor.
