Carvoeiro to host black and white event

Event || Summer is expected to begin with style in Carvoeiro, as the small town gets ready to host a “Black and White Night” on June 21, between 8.30pm and 3am.
The town’s main streets and plazas will be draped in black and white to create a “night of contrasts”, in which people can either relax while looking around local shops – which will be open extra late – or get their adrenaline pumping with the event’s diverse entertainment programme.
The event, organised by Lagoa council and Ibérica Eventos & Espectáculos, is being deemed “the Algarve’s first big summer party”.
The entertainment programme includes a vast list of musicians, singers, dj’s, with a headlining performance by Irish folk singer Linda Scanlon. There will also be a variety of dance performances and activities, including Zumba and Capoeira sessions and what promises to be a spectacular display of tribal dances with fires.
Most of the entertainment will take place at the town’s beach although there will also be street artists performing around the town’s centre.
For full schedules to all performances, visit the event’s official Facebook page by searching for ‘Carvoeiro Noite Black & White’.
