Celebrate Catholic Mass in English this Sunday, November 20 at 4pm in Carvoeiro at the chapel on the cliffs, Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Encarnação (Our Lady of the Incarnation).
This is the monthly English Mass (third Sunday of the month) and it will be a celebration of Christ The King – the last Sunday before Advent.
The celebrant will be Padre Nuno Coelho, parish priest.
The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. Everyone is most welcome even if you do not normally attend this church. There will be refreshments after the service.
There is a special collection for the Food Bank. This week, Carvoeiro Catholics are specifically collecting tins and jars of sausages, fish, vegetables, fruit … anything! Please check the sell-by date! The initiative supports over 120 families in need.
The usual time for weekend mass in Carvoeiro is Saturday at 5.30pm (in Portuguese). This English Mass is in addition to that.
