The Mass is held in the chapel on the cliffs, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean

 Catholic Mass in English will take place this Sunday, May 15 at the Carvoeiro chapel on the cliffs Ermida da Nossa Senhora da Encarnação, at 4pm. This will be the monthly English Mass.

The celebrant will be the parish priest Padre Nuno Coelho, recently returned from his pilgrimage to Fátima.

The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. Everyone is most welcome even if you do not normally attend this church.

The wearing of masks is no longer compulsory.

Carvoeiro Catholics will be collecting for the Food Bank, supporting 100 families in need.

The usual time for weekend Mass in Carvoeiro is Saturday at 5.30pm (in Portuguese). This English Mass does not replace that.

Carvoeiro Catholics hold a Mass in English every third Sunday of the month.
