The English Mass normally takes place on the third Sunday of every month
Catholic Mass in English takes place this Sunday, February 19 at the chapel on the cliffs in Carvoeiro – Our Lady of the Incarnation – at 4pm. This is the monthly English Mass.
The celebrant will be Padre Nuno Coelho, the parish priest.
This Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. Everyone is welcome even if they do not normally attend this church.
Carvoeiro Catholics are collecting food donations for one of the Lagoa food banks, supporting over 120 families in need.
The usual time for weekend Mass in Portuguese in Carvoeiro is Saturday at 5.30pm. The English Mass (normally the third Sunday of every month) does not replace that.
