Carvoeiro is holding a Christmas Fair in the square from December 14 to 18, from 11am until 6pm each day.
The event is free to attend, with stalls selling a variety of handicrafts, local produce and Christmas gift ideas.
Organised by Vozes Intensas, the business and residents association of Carvoeiro, and supported by Lagoa Câmara, the fair aims to bring a touch of Christmas sparkle to the town.
The fair will have between six and eight tents selling everything from locally made Christmas sweets and gifts to mulled wine, paintings and popcorn.
