Carvoeiro Catholics will be celebrating the monthly English Mass this Sunday, October 24 at 4pm in Carvoeiro at the chapel on the cliffs – Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Encarnação (Our Lady of the Incarnation). This is a postponed date as last week was the first meeting of the Synod of Bishops in the Algarve.
The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. Everyone is welcome even if you do not normally attend this church.
Please note that COVID-19 rules apply, and all are asked to wear masks. There will be hand sanitiser at the door and distanced seating for your safety.
Carvoeiro Catholics are collecting for the Food Bank, so a contribution with a long shelf life is welcome to support 70 families in need.
The usual time for weekend Mass in Carvoeiro is Saturday at 5.30pm (in Portuguese). This English Mass does not replace that.
