A total of 88 abandoned vehicles have been removed from the streets of Faro since July last year.
The project to clean the streets of the capital has been developed by Faro Câmara in cooperation with company Ambitrena.
Since July 2011, a further 93 abandoned vehicles have been identified and their removal should happen in the near future.
A further 192 cars were also on the list for removal but their cases have since been archived either because “the owners have removed the vehicles themselves or because they have simply moved them to another street”.
