Windows of several cars were broken in Quarteira during the New Year’s Eve celebrations in the town.
According to police, only one complaint had been lodged by the end of New Year´s Day, so the exact number of attempted robberies is unknown but thought to be close to
10 vehicles.
Police are urging anyone affected to make a complaint.
They believe the spate of attacks was carried out by individuals who were in the Algarve for the festivities.
