THE NEW Forest Lodge Driving and Equestrian Centre is now well and truly open and an inaugural meeting will be held on Sunday, April 22.
The event will start at 12 noon at the stables, 10km north of Lagos, where prospective members and guests will be introduced to some of the club’s grooms, horses and carriages.
Over lunch, members and guests will have a chance to meet an experienced competition judge and member of the British Carriage Driving Society. After lunch, there will be an opportunity to take the reins and try your hand at driving one of the centre’s carriages.
